The sun shined bright on me, and I can't say it didn't burn. These scars are my history.

A fashion forward young lady who runs Ryesbake's Historical Library. A historian at heart, Viv has a very thorough catalog of the history of Ambrosia and the relatively recent effects of the paranormal on it. The gaps in history elude her, and so do the evergrowing mysteries.
Viv is someone who tries her best to cheer those around her, and never fails to protect the weak and console the broken, but also a lot of times she doesn't notice her overbearingness, and seems to be one who uses her extroverted connections to distract herself from her own shortcomings.

Afflicted with the Curse of Vampirism, she isn't an actual bloodsucker, but inherents a lot of traits expected of one by media; think of it like a passive buff that isn't too major, but also doesn't have any of the large setbacks. Her abilities include high reflexes, ease of getting sunburns, the ability to turn into a bat and a dislike of garlics in her food. A large batbeast transformation is available to her, but the use of the full transformation is limited, so she generally only transforms parts of her body into 'the beast', by consuming said body part with a blob of bats that fly off her hair.

Someone is always needed to catalog and remember history, especially in such times of change, and unexpectedly to many, the one doing so isn't some ancient hermit, but go-get-'em young adult with an old person's name. You don't judge a book by its cover, and surely the bookkeep knows that well.
