Ambrosia County is generally cold, but one of its coasts has a supernatural summer-y microclimate, where ghost ships and ghastly objects drift ashore. This attracts many tourists interested in the paranormal but also time in the sun, who all flock to the small Royal Fortune hotel, ran by Morgan Morrison.

While the day-to-day managing even a small venture is grueling, Morgan takes steam off by putting his genius mind at work, crafting and welding high tech equipment out of what washes ashore, as events such as the spawning of ghost ships with no crew aboard are common along the Ambrosian shore, and most objects spawned this way have a potent paranormal energy to them. Morgan might be the first person in the city who has managed to potentialize this technology, using the framework of the base trinkets to repurpouse into things like weaponry. He keeps all of this under wraps, and has a bit of a crew for gathering scrap and workshopping.

He is gruff and grumpy, with a huge sarcastic streak outside of work. Morgan knows well that Ambrosia is a hellhole under the veneer of intrigue, and faces that with apathy. He is well accustomed to hexed objects, but the world of Cursed Ones is completely alien to him, and he reacts increasingly more confused at the non-serious off the bonkers people he ends up meeting.

Notable Crafts:
  • Crossanchor: a type of crossbow that fires off spears of paranormal energy. It's pretty common knowledge that anchors are HUGE, so this is actually repurpoused from an ornamental anchor figurepiece, of all things.
  • Energy Grenadier: crafted from a self-filling barrel of energy ooze, said slime is concentrated under heat into energy rounds shots, which explode on contact with surfaces and are quite volatile.
  • Jolly Launcher: concocted from a turbulent self-poltergeisting ship's wheel, this gun creates small smiling ghosts called Jolly Bombs, which explode a short while after being created and have a bit of a prankster-y personality. They seem to have no problems with the fact they exist just to explode, but none have went to therapy so far.
