Celeste is quite the character; loudmouthed and boisterous, she is a young woman originally from Ontario, who wears her heart on her sleeve and is a self-appointed "super-villain". Caught in the whimsy of the duality of good vs. evil you'd find somewhere like a saturday morning cartoon show, she lives out proclaiming goals of becoming the greatest villain in history. In actuality she has never done anything outrageous ever, and in fact has barely broken any laws before, but in some sort of step for this plan, she was hired as an independent operative for a certain shady company, which doesn't care that much about her ideals, as they're more preoccupied with making use of her extremely powerful curse.
Wielding the Curse of Creation, it is an Integral Curse in nature, one not necessarily directly related to the paranormal, but which is present in occurances; this curse can be seen as the ability to mold the sheer building blocks of apparitions, as Celeste is able to mold anything out of a fine sparkling dust, with the simple limit of her imagination and eyesight. Any sort of energy is replaced with a type of star-themed crackling plasma-type energy, which can also be weaponized, but otherwise she can summon any object to her heart or exhaustion's content.
This is possibly, without augmentations, the strongest curse in the world, but Celeste's use of the ability is narrow minded and filled with theatrics, she'll think to make a death cannon that charges up over an hour, so the "heroes" have to work against the clock, instead of just summoning a shower of floating knives, which would indeed be within the reach of her powers. It's this facet that truly shows that despite how much of a front she puts up, Celeste has a gentle heart and doesn't want to gravely injure anyone. Maybe roughhouse them a bit.
It could be theorized that the power of a curse is relative to the gravity of the trauma that spurred its creation, and therefore something truly terrible happened in Celeste's past, but nothing is known about it besides she's always been chipper, and was a brunette before the curse awakened. She really could have just lucked out.
She has latched onto Mallory as her rival, seeing as how she ends up being the one standing in front of everyone else most of the time, arguably then being the hero fighting against her. The people-allergic miasma-wielder naturally detests this quite a bit, and just wishes she'd stop pestering her so dang much.
